OOTD #13 Everyday in May

This is actually my second outfit of the day.  My first set of clothes was for the four (yes 4) dance classes that I taught at the studio today.  I was there from 8:30 in the morning and got home at around 3pm, so it was a super busy day.  I’m running out after the kids go down to do a few more errands so this is what I’m wearing.  We’ll be up uber late packing (ugh) and getting everything ready for the early flight tomorrow.  I’ll be really happy when I can lay out on the patio deck in the evening with the hubs drinking a Mexican cerveza cause today has been messy!

OOTD #12

It’s raining and pseudo snowing in Calgary today - as usual in May - so I chose this cozy great sweater and comfy pink pants to lounge around in for the morning.  Those slippers are also a must this morning and my coffee was the perfect accessory that I’ll be sporting till at least 3pm this afternoon.  Hope everyone has a great Thursday!

OOTD #11 Everyday in May

Feeling a little bad A$$ today because I was somehow able to get William totally packed for the trip this morning - don’t know what came over me.  Also, I’m getting my hair done this afternoon and my hairdressers are all cool, drop dead gorgeous and modern girls so I don’t want to walk in looking like I've ‘given up’.  I guess the pleather jacket kinda helps me look cool.

 This could be one of my favourite sweaters of all time, ever.  Like ever ever.  It’s really lightweight which is nice because it doesn’t create ‘bulk’ with any extra fabric, it’s simple but fun and it’s pink.  Hello!  Yup.  My name - written all over it.

We’re making waves with packing.  HA! (I’m lying) Also, is it normal to do four loads of laundry before 10am?  Either I’m super compulsive when it comes to clean kids clothes or I just have a lot of laundry I’m not totally sure.  We’ll also be doing groceries today, a park play date and scouring the city for lightweight jackets for mommy and William.

OOTD #9 Everyday in May

Happy Monday friends!

We had a lovely day yesterday and visited the most important mommas in my life - my own amazing mother and my mother-in-law.  It was pretty busy but so fun to visit and enjoy everyone’s company.  I think I indulged in way too many mimosas all day long so I’m steering clear of any fancy and fun drinks for a solid week - like ZERO!  haha.  Anywho, this is my outfit for today.  Super basic and casual.  We’re running around town today trying to get ready for the trip.  I hate packing so if anyone wants to come over and help me I would be forever in your debt.  Have a lovely day and see ya tomorrow!

Mother's Day OOTD #8

OOTD #6 Everyday in May

Off to the studio to teach dance class and Choreo for a few hours.  Trust me, I know - there's a lot going on here but when I dance I like to have lots and lots of layers.  It's important to keep muscles warm but also nice to be able to take pieces off when I get too hot.  But obviously, depending on the discipline of dance I'm teaching that day, I'll wear more appropriate pieces (example - ballet would look NOTHING like this ;)

OOTD #5

Everyday in May!

Nursery school run (Scarly goes three times a week) and then errands errands errands with William.  I'm super happy though cause I found a dress for the rehearsal dinner - my brother Paul (the middle of the three) is getting married in NYC!!!  We're pretty stoked for him.  Now I just need to find the actual wedding dress, and stuff for the kids, and a suit for Nate.  No pressure.  

It's a little bit rainy so I'll wear a lightweight jacket when we leave.

OOTD #4 Everyday in May

I was up at 4am today! Whoo hoo!  Goodness, what an early start to the day, but it's all good cause there's lots to do and no time to complain about it.

We're off to nursery school, then William is getting a haircut and then we're probably going to hit up the beach cause it's 28 degrees in Calgary today!!!  I just love love love this weather.

This outfit was super casual and comfy - perfect for the sunny weather we had today.  When I got home I changed into white shorts because it was so hot outside.
